Re: Memory heated/cooled seats after key cycle

At least on 2011 Explorer with DATC the HVAC module is separate from the FCIM come to find out. Anyone familiar with UCDS and flashing firmware?

Re: Can't configure C-CM

I got my part from a 14 Taurus, but it should fit - DG1T-9G768-BA. I'm wondering if the C-CM shutsdown and won't allow configuration if it doesn't have communications with the HUD module as I didn't install that. I'm going to purchase that shortly and try it out. Have you installed the HUD module y...

Re: Memory heated/cooled seats after key cycle

I know that for the Explorer & Edge there is an update for the FCIM because it was part of several TSBs to fix the exhaust odor coming in the vehicle at WOT. The updated FCIM software would then allow the circulation to allow outside air in for a while at wot. So updating of the FCIM is possible. N...

Re: Memory heated/cooled seats after key cycle

When using an IDS to update a module, there is more than one type. Under Module Programming Menu they should do a "Module Reprogramming". My dealer does not usually do correct "updates". See this for more details (https://ford.oemdtc.com/1648/module-programming-and-reprogramming-procedures-ford-lin...

Re: Memory heated/cooled seats after key cycle

I'd also like this to be enabled, but from I read some time ago, it has to do with the FCIM software. Some owners of Ford vehicles got this after an update was performed on the FCIM. Hmm, I will have to check if our FCIM's have any updates. I know I updated all of them when I bought the cars years ...

Memory heated/cooled seats after key cycle

I've been searching for a while on how to do this. I can't find anything in Ford's WSM as far as what controls it. IIRC, 17+ MY started retaining climate controlled seats on/off after key cycle. (Turn on A/C seat, shut vehicle off, exit, enter, start vehicle, cooled seat comes BACK on automatically)...

Re: Can't configure C-CM

Pretty sure the IPC U0405 is from the CCM invalid configuration. What year/model did the CCM come from? Or do you have an engineering number? I am wanting to do the same mod, at this point I'm just missing the CCM pigtail and bracket. I have 3 or 4 CCM's, one was from a 2014 Explorer I know for sure.

I am a Ford tech as well. VCM2 using FDRS, though. Use VCM2 with FDRS and attempt to connect to the F-150. Not saying Ford didn't change protocols with 2018, but I've seen 18MY owners using Forscan. :D
