So i purchased a spare pcm for my car and re flashed it with an intentionally wrong calibration and despite using the right VIN my theory was right car now has 3.55 axle instead of 3.27 it so my next step is 3.08 and 2.73 however these are not factory on a police crown vic but are factory options on...

is there a limit to how many trials you can get ? i have 3 laptops i run FS on as well as FORD IDS 104.3- 110.2 , a main one a spare i keep with me and a 3rd i keep on a shelf ,i don't mind paying he $50 for my main laptop but to have too pay for laptops that are spares seems a bit steep

The problem with tuners like SCT is that the tune they put into a PCM is not readable by ForScan or IDS! That's because it's encrypted. It's encrypted so people can't just read/copy all the work they have done. They are also done to be vehicle specific by using the vehicle VIN in the configurations...

I Mess with ids ford has it locked down pretty much you can edit the calibration files a little but not alot .I have manually tried editing the file but its encrypted.

Pcm Asbuilt

Hello all i was wondering if there is a beta version of FS that will allow me to edit my PCM ,I have a VCMII and a extra PCM so i don't care if i brick my PCM in the process. I got a Tunner so i want to change the file then use FS to see what bytes get changed and slowly reverse Engineer it.

There is no BCM the LCM controls lights and DDM controls key fobs,tire size and door code,TPMS (if applicable ).Now my car came with a 3.27 rear if i go to change it i get A error about certified calibration (2.25-2.29) i get the error if i put 2.25 and 2.29 (of anything )but 2.26,2.27,2.28 work fin...

Im 90% sure i can mess with mine with Fs i know i can with IDS
