Did you ever figure this out? I’ve plugged a new Focus in today with sync 3 and no apim.

This is the next generation sync 3 without apim. The screen is connected directly to the acm which usually would be the radio tuner amplifier. I’m presuming this is fords answer to a cheaper sync 3.

MK4 Focus SYNC 3 no APIM

Hi has anyone any information on the latest sync 3 that has no APIM?
it seems the screen is directly powered from the ACM.
Trying to activate the camera option.

I think the instructions for above is for the 4” display type where it’s adjusted in the fdcim. On the Fiesta with 5” nav, it’s a simple change option in body control module, to “with park assist camera” and wait a while for it to take place. I’ve tried this on the transit with 5” nav but it doesn’t...
