Re: 2009 crown Vic P71 spreadsheet

In response to Armyalton you could electrically "flip the switch" for the in dash compass but you would have to add the factory compass module (mounted behind the review mirror on the cars factory equipped) and it's associated wiring. Once you've done that though I suspect the P71-P7B cluster wouldn...

Re: No ABS module?

I am going to assume that you are talking about a NA Ranger here. For MY 1999 there were two different Anti-Lock braking systems, a rear wheel only basic system and a 4 wheel ABS system. Remove a front tire and look for wires, a large percentage of Rangers came with the older rear wheel only abs sys...

Re: Us built navigator drl's

I will consult with some factory wiring diagrams but from what I can find the Expeditions and Navigators used a old style electrical system, doesn't use a computer to turn it on or off, that started in 2007. Canadian spec. vehicles had a resistor in behind the drivers side headlight area and a aux r...

Re: Turn Signals giving trouble again

I am just guessing here but did you have to modify wiring to get the led's to work like adding load resistors? Those will need to be removed or it will set error codes causing the module to disable the lights. The codes are saying that there is a short to ground in the wiring in both front turn sign...

Re: Hyper Flash 2005 Grand Marquis

I have yet to find the answer (module wise), I just bypassed the LCM and installed a LED compatible signal flasher. No resistors to get hot, no cut up wiring to fail years later down the road.

Re: 2014 F150 programming TPMS after replacing BCM?

If you haven't yet you should go download your as built from Ford and verify they programmed it correctly. Sounds like your BCM took the sensors during programming but still might be a BCM to IC issue due to improper programming? Generally TPMS errors are faulty or low batteries in the sensors. What...

Re: OEM Cruise control program to default to On?

I could be wrong but I believe that is hard coded, Ford was sued back in the 80's I believe by people who "accidentally" hit the set accel button on their steering wheels. Since then all Ford cruise controls are off until you press the ON button.

Re: No Configuration and Programming Section

On older cars (I believe anything older than 2005) dark mode is enabled by a blue wire connector under the glove box, whether or not the Grand Marquis has this plug I could not tell you.

Re: 2016 Ford F350 Super Duty DRL - Lesson Learned

Thanks for sharing your experience, many Fords don't turn on their DRL's unless they are in gear. Not sure why that is but it can be frustrating when you are checking to see if you have them enabled or not.

Re: Focus 2017 USA washer fluid level warning disable

Not to sure on how to do that in software but unplugging the sensor on your washer fluid tank should accomplish the result you are looking for.
