The battery needs to be load tested with the tool. Volts dont show if its good or bad only if its flat or not.

I,m sure it did but cannot remember what it was. What i do remember was, the fault code description had nothing to do with fuel pressure.So that had me confused. A leak back test proved the answer.

I have had this problem before. Special attention must be had when reading fuel pressure while cranking. In both cases the fuel pressure was very low so when cranking the pressure goes up to a point where the engine fires, but the pressure has dropped slightly. The pump tries to boost up a little to...

EGR delete = no. Speedpilot i believe so. The interface looks good, but you never know until you try it.

The program, like many others must have a stable voltage. Normally above 12v. Programming takes a lot of power from the battery. SO if you get a bad read, you will get a poor write.

Did you have battery back up or a charger connected when you made these changes?
