Re: First time use, original setting question 2013 150

YES!!!

Save each and every As_built module data ON A DEVICE SEPARATE FROM YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't emphasis this enough. Put this info on a flash drive, a dvd, a floppy disc, a cassette, whatever you got, just do it separate from your computer.

Re: “Bambi Mode”? - 2010-2014 Mustangs

Isn't it frustrating? I guess the computer nerds don't drive Mustangs  ! There is a way what you are asking, the Bambi Mod, can be done with hardwiring and the addition of one small relay. We do it on motorcycles all the time. Sometimes we add a light dimmer as well so aux lighting (like fog li...

Re: 2011 Town Car, Disable Easy Entry / Easy Exit

Thanks for posting this. I tried it today and it worked exactly as described. Drivers seat no no longer moves in and out. It is a nice feature until the seat motors burn out and then Ford will want hundreds of dollars to replace them. Nice way to guarantee parts and service revenue for years. I had...

Re: Battery target state of charge?

Your vehicle is much newer than mine but I'm guessing you have the same B (attery) M (anagement) S (ystem) as I do. Be sure to search thoroughly for your specific vehicle but many of us F150'ers disconnect it altogether. For us, this thread applies -> https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1661233-rando...

Re: Charging system

We recently had this discussion on an F150 forum. Alternator/Starter shop tech needs a new alternator, goes with a "proven" heavy duty one. Nothing but trouble until he rebuilds and re-installs his original unit then voila! All is right in the world again. They figured it's some incompatib...

Re: 2018 F150 - How to fix the "See Manual" Wrench after Tire Size Change

I posted some details for my 2013 STX in this thread -> viewtopic.php?f=5&t=16100 maybe it'll help. I was very frustrated until I figured out I was using an old version of Forscan. See post #5 on pg 1.

Re: 2020 Edge Auto Unlock

Depending on the features your vehicle has, you may have what's called Autolock and Autounlock. My descriptions and enable/disable are in my owner's manual- no Forscan necessary.
