The default code cannot be changed, that procedure only adds a second personal code

Re: Setting arbitrary tire sizes for speedometer calibration

I feel your pain! I went through the same thing only to find I had to remove Forscan from my computer then download the latest version. Everything after that worked perfectly.

Above all keep a back up of all your modules first.
I second this with a small change- keep an As-Built back up of all your modules on a device separate from your computer. DVD, flash drive, SD card, whatever.

Re: Windshield Wipers

My first thought- do you have a rain sensor, something like that? I've seen a few vehicles that automatically turned stuff on if the vehicle thought it was raining. Look through your owners manual too, it's usually in there.

Have you looked in your owners manual? That's where the instructions are for both 2010 and 2013 F150s.

Re: 2006 f150 IC mod

When I was first learning Forscan to do a few simple things on my 2013 F150, I found out that prior to 2014 changes available through Forscan for earlier models 2010 and sooner are extremely limited. I think you're going to find that going that far back there's very little you can do. That's why the...

I've not heard or seen of any way to do this with Forscan. I have heard of an aftermarket "chip" that can be installed to remove the 100 mph limit but I haven't looked into it.

Re: DRL Led strip w/ low beam

Many aftermarket upgrades are not configurable with software. Hardwiring changes will likely need to be done. With the right experience, enough money and a big hammer, anything is possible ;)!

Unfortunately my free trial of forscan ran out, which is a shame because I barely used it while I had it. If anyone else is able to try this and see if it works I would consider extending my license.
I've gotten the free license several times, no reason why you can't too.
