Re: tire pressure monitoring system (tpms)

Thank you all. This helped. I don't have access to a Gen 2 expedition anymore. However, this helped out a user on expedition forum for their 2004 Expedition. From what I gather this is what is required. Leave the TPMS DA-01 as-builts alone. If you don't have anything but beltminder in the non - asbu...

Re: TPMS disable

Ya, I am trying to help another guy with that. We're looking in the IC Module as built to turn it off. Also, with an expedition that old, only a few modules come up. IC Module 60-01 Here's the thread. Forscan forum https://www.forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10560&p=42508#p42508 Expedition fo...

Re: tire pressure monitoring system (tpms)

Interesting. I think the position in that block is the one to change. From what I remember, the last block is a checksum that forscan updates naturally. Do you think an 04 with the follow blocks get changed like so? 60-01 9000 1800 FF08 tpms enabled. Changes to 60-01 9000 1200 FFxx (xx) being the ge...

Re: tire pressure monitoring system (tpms)

So I have a question along the same line.

I have an 03 Eddie bauer expedition with as-built ICM
60-01 9000 9800 FF88.

Should I just change the second block from 9800 > 9200?

Does anyone know where the pids are on an 08 escape mainer? I don't have a smart junction box shown in a category of pids.

Re: Disable mykey

Still no luck disabling mykey. I just updated the to version 2.3.14,and updated my extended license. I am attempting to add a third key now. It looks like my tradition “8-cut" style key needs to be programmed with a 12-minute inverval between key 1 and key 2 reads. The dealer only provide us with tw...

Disable mykey

Is it possible to remove keys from MyKey with forscan with out the admin key? I was trying to program an additional PATS key on my 2014 Edge and accidentally enabled MyKey with both keys. Can I use forscan scan to turn this off? I don't have an Admin key since i set both to Mykey.

Re: How to check blank PATS key

I very carefully checked & validated the new replacement key & got the correct B1601 error code so I then mustered all my courage to 'Delete ALL known keys' ! I found it a very simple, EASY process with FORscan and my vehicle (2003 4.6L V8 Explorer) only required 'timed' access of @ 12 minutes befo...
