Re: Configured Mustang using Forscan, without AS-Built Data

This is where you woul start looking at modifying the asbuilt data. Just keep in mind that some or all the things you still want to change may not be possible or may disable a companion system you want to keep. I cangive you two personal examples. 1 I enabled my fog lights on mine, a full self test ...

Re: Configured Mustang using Forscan, without AS-Built Data

Correct. Asbuilt module config is always there for modes that can be configured. Non-asbuilt config is only there if the forscan team added that info to the program.

Re: factory reset All Modules from .AB from motorcraft website

Open the .ab file with notepad. Find the module specific info in it and use forscan to correct the one module with the issue.

Re: Configured Mustang using Forscan, without AS-Built Data

Both methods acomplish the same thing. If you have the option to do it without asbuilt editing, it means ppl decoded the asbuilt options and is included in Forscan.

EPAS settings?

I just retrofitted EPAS to my 2007 mustang. Forscan IDs the EPAS rack as a 2012 mustang. There is one line of code I can make changes to with Forscan on the EPAS controller.
Has anyone messed with configuring the steering? I would like to default it to "track" mode for less assist.

Thanks,

2008 Clubwagon strangeness

So I put a set of tires on my van and went with the 245s, one of two stock options. I cannot find a way to program the tire size and correct the speedo. I have IDS and after entering the new tire size in programmable parameters, the flash fails. I get the same failure error trying to flash my 2005 G...

Re: 2003 Escape Starting Problem & Problem Detection Strategy?

When it fails to start, I would just bring up Forscan live data and monitor: engine RPMs. If you see a reading of Zero while cranking, it would be a good chance of an issue with the crank sensor. If you can read the fuel pressure sensor with Forscan, that is something I would look at too. I would be...

Can't help with radio or navi, sorry.

I was unable to fix hyperflash with Forscan. I ended up installing resistors to get rid of hyperflash after installing LED bulbs.

Re: Can I disable PATS on my 1999 Ford Explorer?

I see, than kyou Juice. What would be a great tuner that I could use for the P A T S, and other tweaking?? Generally, SCT is the preferred solution for Fords. I'm not sure which tuner has the best support for your truck. But, in order to turn off pats, you will need to buy the hardware (handheld de...
