Re: 2000 Mustang Programability

Forscan will NOT do what you want. ON that car, I think you are limited to turning the belt minder on/off. (and it may not work)

Same reason a ford dealer cant program other makes. Each manufacturer uses their own propriatery protocols. Only obd emission diagnostics are standard across manufacturers.

Re: Ford Galaxy MK3 2011 new ECU initialization

See if you can find "reset learned parameters" or something like that under the pcm functions. You need to re:initialize it to establish communication between immo and pcm. Then you should be able to program the keys. Thats what I had to do on the mustang.

Re: APIM, ACM, or DSP Settings

I was under the impression speed volume only changed volume when moving and stopping. Not max volume while parked.
I have mine set on "2". Setting it to "0" just disables speed volume.
No clue if you can change any of that with Forscan

Re: Pcm, ic replacement

Yes, you can read the asbuilt data from your old modules and save it to disk. As long as those modules can communicate and are not bricked.

Re: programming options for older cars

lol. I think the Grand Marquis runs great. Mine will out run most traffic without issue. Sure its slower than a mustang with 400 at the wheels, but can definitely get out of the hole. (Put in posi w/gears)
Could it be you have a torque converter issue?

Re: programming options for older cars

FYI, on my grand marquis, I dont even get the option in Ford IDS to change gear ratio.
4.10? I was thinking of pulling my 3.08s and put the 2.73s back. lol

Re: programming options for older cars

2003 Grand Marquis w/3.55s? You will not be able to fix the speedo w/Forscan. I got an InTune for my 2005 because of gear change. Should be able to more to the '14 with Forscan.
