Re: 2011 Edge IPC flash failed/soft bricked

Phew this seems to be bad. As first Forscan can not detect right version of Firmware in Module. So using default from Profile. This is the first warning sign. Then it fails in writing. I am afraid you have to try a friend using UCDS to get this fixxed again. There you can select more Option to write...

Re: Problem changing miles to km in central configuration

Yeah
I know what you mean
Years ago I have bought my first uk Speedo.
Total trip was fixed to mls.
All other features was set to km except the total trip
Nothing helped.
After reflashing the whole device with actual eu firmware
Km and mls can be set by configuration easily.

Best regards

Re: Firmware Browser for Paid Licences

Hi friend, I mean that you can search for any file you want to. You can load them in UCDS too. If you know the correct name i.e. BT4T-14D207-BA you can browse the Ford servers to load it. To load them with the three dots as mentioned you need them onto your harddrive. But where can I find them to lo...

Re: Testing firmware update function for Ford modules

I am afraid, that you may have used a wrong version of Firmware. So for example a 1.6l TIVCT Engine BCM Software will not fit all requirements a RS engine want to have to. First you have to turn back to original state. Then Check the Firmware Name. A firmware BV6T-14XXX-AE can be replaced by XXX-AG ...

Firmware Browser for Paid Licences

Hi there, I want to know if a Firmware Browser like the function "Additional Functions - Firmware Download" in UCDS is planned. So that everyone with a paid licence can select Firmware Files to download. I.E. I have a BM5T Camera and want to test the last Release called CV4T. Forscan does ...

Re: Testing firmware update function for Ford modules

I replaced the IPC for a UK one. hardware and software are the same as original EU. But the scale is not correct, could this be remedied by changing the calibration of an EU IPC? Or should I perform a complete update? Hmmm.... If the scale is not correct you may have done the following: 1. its a wr...

You only get SBL Files, but no longer the other needed ones.

Ford has changed the way to find them and Forscan wants Money for loading vbf files.
