Re: AS Build spreadsheet for 2011 Lincoln MKS

They are kinda universal. No specific spreadsheet for Lincoln. A lot of the settings are the same especially for the 2015 and under models with Sync 2. Later models after 2016 are Sync 3 and some settings are similar, but unlike Sync 2 you cannot enable navigation if you don't have it in Sync 3. Don...

Re: navigation install help

Rolling back to 3.08 is not hard if that's what you elect to do. All you need is the correct autoinstall.lst file and a copy of Sync 2 version 3.08 for your location. You copy the autoinstall.lst file to notepad and have that file and the 3.08 SyncMyRide folder on a Usb stick and apply it to your ru...

Re: V2.4 Request

Fully agree with you but the 2 versions are quite different so how can you gain experience if not using it ? If you are comfortable with it go for it! As long as one does the research and knows it's limitations. I too wanted it four or five years ago and Forscan wasn't letting it out until they wer...

Re: Sync 3.4 US to EU maps - Nav in motion

Run APIM (not the Asbuilt) and see if you have this line:
Ability to change address in motion - Disabled
(click on Disabled and change to Enabled and hit write).
This may logically change it to the proper setting if available in the Euro Sync.

I have installed the softwares using the CD received with the ELS 27 cable. When I try to establish the connection with the car 'Unable to identify the vehicle. Please contact developers.' is the error code I receive.
So. Did you contact the developers?

Re: navigation install help

I don't know what it is but I've seen where a few have posted that they put this file on a USB stick and installed this to their vehicle after having trouble enabling navigation and it helped enable it. Looks like it doesn't hurt anything and actually helps. The file is included in the Naviupdate 3....
