Re: OBDlink EX flashes red green red, will not update?

this is a know behaviour of the updater software. choose the right baud rate instead of 'auto' and the process will work

Re: Can't get FORScan to work on computer

windows defender or whatever antivirus you are employing is blocking the execution of the installer. if you are not using a dedicated antivirus, whitelist the downloaded installer in defender: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security-811816c0-4dfd-af4a-47e4-c3...

Re: obdlink ex

I had that problem - set the baud rate to the value you can see in the device manager of windows. when it's on auto, it won't see the adapter.

Re: Secure Idle for 2018 Escape Titanium

I think you misread the response - this is a model specific topic. this forum will have some members with your car but certainly not the same knowledge base a dedicated forum has. If it's a generic FORScan question, you will have more luck here.

Re: Service Procedure Has Been Interrupted

check and update the firmware on the adapter - there was a release a few months back that messed with the supported protocols. I did update to that and had a similar response from FORSCAN every time I tried anything. Updated to the currently listed last version and it works perfectly again.

Re: An odd collection of problems!

a ground issue somewhere... find the grounding points in the car and check them for corrosion or loose connectors

Re: ForScan Only Runs in Win-10 Safe Mode ?

Windows defender / security. Disable app & Browser control temporarily and see if that works. I run FORScan on many Win10 manines without issues.

Re: Secondary bootloader vs warranty

You can download it - it's always the same file that was in the module already and since there are a million different sbl files they don't come bundled. This is not something that can be traced and void your warranty.

Re: hello, first post, can't find an answer

have the ignition on but the engine not running when you connect. don't turn it on and off during the discovery process.
