Re: ABS bleed issues 01 focus

Hi some cars have two switches connected to the brake pedal. One for brake lights and one for the ecu. I suspect the one for the ecu has failed or gone out of adjustment. You will find the two switches towards the top of the brake pedal.

Re: MAP sensor reading

Hi sounds like you might be losing compression due to injector seat seals leaking. Check around the injectors to see if there is any black carbon build up.

Re: Teach-In of replaced power steering unit

Hi as I understand the as-built file contains the information for most of the modules on the car. I had a go at programming my 2006 focus 1.8 tdci. I know it slightly different because I have not actually change my steering pump. I downloaded my as-built file from ford. I entered eps module configur...

Re: Teach-In of replaced power steering unit

The next time you connect forscan to the car make sure that the vehicle profile is deleted for that vehicle if one was saved last time. If it did not see the EPAS before it will not look for it again if loaded from...

Hi have you tried the can bus toggle switch in both positions when trying to first communicate with car? Having it in the wrong position has caught me out before.

Re: Where to buy a compatible adapter?

Hi According to the spec it does covers the standard ford protocol. The modules on the Hs can bus would be accessible but not the one's on the Ms can bus (no switch). Bluetooth devices can be a bit hit or miss if they work regardless of specifications. I have had some that have worked and some that ...

Re: Ford focus 2008 1.6 Diesel

Hi assuming the correct sensors have been replaced I would check wiring to sensors. Check for earth/ neg and + 5volts or +12volts. Are you ok using a multimeter?
