Re: Scan tool not reading vehicle data

A quick search of "red lock in ford IDS software" returns "A Locked Red Padlock indicates the VCM and/or VMM resource is locked and being used. An Unlocked Yellow Padlock indicates the VCM and/or VMM resource is unlocked or not being used." So it sounds like the lock is not your ...

VCX-Nano expired license

I have a VCX-Nano with firmware 1.8.4 and VX Manager 1.8.1.1012 with Ford and Passthru licenses. It's saying the licenses has expired on 2020-12-30.

Anybody else having this problem? Does going back to a previous firmware help?

Re: User Defined Pids

No you can't.

Also note in the forum rules "We do not consult on protocol, PID numbers etc" in the forum.

However, if you have information that may make Forscan better for everyone, you can send a PM to FORScan.

Make sure you have "stopped" anything in the other areas of FORScan such as your "start" of configuration / AS-Built.

@ClockWork is there a reason your app uses ETIS instead of https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt ?

Re: Linux version wanted

Has anyone tried to run FORScan on ReactOS?

Its an open source / free Windows OS clone that runs many Windows apps.

UCDS V3 J2534 China works with version 2.3.20 without any troubles. Excellent.
Does it work on MS-CAN? What did you pay for it?
