How to tell which cylinder is misfiring?

I was wondering, I have a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis and I was wondering is there a way the computer can tell which cylinder is misfiring? Is there a way? Is there a PID to check this? I don't know much I am learning this scanning. It is cool though.
