I would try to write the asbuilt per your vin to the cluster, Leave the BCM as it should be for your truck (except for the park aid delete)

I don't think you need to initialize the steering angle unless you have active park assist

Without NASTF/LSID credentials or a dealer login, there is not currently a way to do it. Make friends with a tech at your local dealer and see if you can tip him $20 for programming the key.

There are some issues that will need to be addressed going forward on these vehicles. I have heard the same kind of issues with snap on and other scanners as well. It has something to do with securing the gateway traffic in the networks to prevent vehicle hacking, not from a settings point of view, ...

There is a function in IDS for this. It’s a service initialization just like LIN initialization or RVC initialization. you need a pcm tune to remove EGR, this will also effect emission monitors for inspection. Might be better to leave it
