Re: Fault codes

Hello Ktaylor

These codes can be caused by low battery voltage. I would suspect dead battery or corroded battery connections.

Re: Ford Escape TPMS disable

Hello If you have BMC (Body Control Module) in your module list see if TPMS is listed in there. In my Wife's 2010 Fusion it is in an address that looks like the Address below in Configuration(AsBuilt) if it is not listed in Configuration. BCM 726-08-01 0X00 00 00 Where X is 0 to disable and 1 to ena...

Re: Ford Explorer 2003 Modules Missing

Forscan has UBP support as of version 2.3.09 but only for Ford VCM2 Adapters and VCM2 Clones. I helped to develop it during 2.3.09beta with my 03 Expedition and 05 F150 and a High quality Clone. Support for UBP protocols in ELM327 based adapters is still being worked on hence the prompt for the swit...

Re: 2010 Fusion Puddle Lamps not working + looking for spreadsheet

Hello bandrews8 Brandon You could try this (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bw7jDvlqxa5UeXZQU3lfb0luQ1E). It's called Asbuilt hacker and I have used it on my wifes 2010 Fusion SLE AWD to find options and the correct configuration for the PSCM module when I replaced the electronic power steering un...

Re: Fusion 2012 tire pressure warning light

Hello Turassi My wifes 2010 Fusion SEL AWD has this located in the Body control module (BCM). Address 726-08-01 0005 02 3D Disables TPMS, 726-08-01 0105 02 3E will enable TPMS and is set to this code and enabled in the wife's 2010. The last two digits are check sums and should calculate automaticall...

Re: HS / MS SWITCH

Hello avic I am not familiar with the Transits, if that is the vehicle you are asking about? If it is anything like my 2005 F150 it will not have any MSCAN modules and if Forscan does not expect any or see a connection to any MSCAN/UBP modules, it won't ask for the switch to be changed. My ELMSCAN5 ...

Re: Historic DTC codes

Hi rich That first code you list P2831(Shift Fork Position A Circuit Fault) is TCM(Transmission Control Module) code that can get set when there is a low or high voltage problem. The first Pin Point test for this code asks for a complete check of all modules for any voltage codes. The other two code...

Re: Red X over VCM, Forscan hangs

Hello thatguy Check in your program files for the VCI manager in the Bosch program folder and double click it to open it. A manager should load with an icon of your VCM with its Serial Number underneath and two buttons at the bottom marked connect and disconnect and if the VCM is detected the connec...

Re: Enabling Modules to work...

Hello I would not be so quick to condemn the PCM, as a battery nearing the end of its usefulness will cause voltage DTC's to set in many modules if voltage drops below 11 volts particularly during starting and this can happen with a poor battery condition and still start like normal. A failing alter...

Re: Enabling Modules to work...

Hello 5280: I have this same Expy and that configuration will be in the VSM(vech security module) if it was equipped with it and quite likely is. Check for a code number on a module(VSM) high up in the passenger foot well. Should look like this 77451(what a previous totaled 03 Expy I owned had as it...
