Re: Modifying an OBDLINK SX USB Adapter for HS/MS-CAN relay managed by RTS

Hello ham_op Before you go to all that trouble of modifying an OBDlink SX, it might helpful to determine if your 03 escape even has MS-Can or even HS-Can for that matter. If it is like my 03 Expedition, it will have a UART Based Protocol on Pin 3 in the data link connector and no number 11 pin and t...

Re: UBP

Will a J2534 adapter allow access modules on the UBP network? Can FORScan access them? Well, from all J2534 adapters we saw only Ford VCMII does support UBP... And no, UBP is not supported for J2534 yet as testing of UBP is not successful yet (we had no chance yet to get a local access to a vehicle...

Re: ABS Service Bleed service procedure missing? (2013 Fiest

I'm assuming I'm the only one to be experiencing this issue. Is there any way to raise a bug report? Naturally I would of course be more than happy to help with diagnosis/testing to aid fixing if required. Hello M: Attach the contents of your users\(your account file)\APPData\roaming\forscan\logfil...

Re: Pats Programing help

You will need to attach the contents of the log file folder in your C:\users\{your user account}\appdata\roaming\FORscan Folder to an email and send it to contact@forscan.org. It should contain a dump.bin file and a FORScan.log file. These instructions can be also found in the Forscan program by clic...

Re: IPC on 2016 Ford Explorer Sport

Well, it's not the answer that I was looking for, but at least it's an honest answer. Is it a simple pinout that can be accomplished by some soldering a switch and patience? Thanks! Have a look at the two links below if you have not already as to the switch modification. I have done one in a simila...

Re: IPC on 2016 Ford Explorer Sport

Hi, call me a newbie or whatever, but I am in the FORScan knee deep and love the ability to customize my ride as much as humanly possible. However, I cannot seem to get FORScan to read my IPC module on my 2016 Explorer Sport. I like the fact that some of you have been able to add the climate contro...

Re: Extended license won't activate

So, I tried this on another computer (one which doesn't have bluetooth :( ) and it worked fine. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with my laptop, but it really won't take this extended license. Is there another option? I need to activate my trailer brake controller by the end of the week so I...

Re: 2004 F150 Missing MS-CAN pin

All the pins your truck should have are in the holes they are supposed to be in. Unfortunately if 2004 F150's are like my 2005 there is no MSCan on these years as these trucks were using Uart based protocol (UBP) on Pin 3, ISO/Kline on pin 7 And HSCAN + on Pin 6 with HSCAN - on Pin 14. 12V+ or Syste...

Re: Standard and Extended licenses for Windows

Do I have to have my scan tool plugged into truck to get my hardware Id ? I'm just trying to get as far as I can with setup before my new truck gets here. Thanks In a word no. Your Hard Ware ID is the computer or tablet that you run Forscan on and you find that in the about section of Forscan, with...
