Any chance that the Android app will ever allow AB editing?
So I've used Forscan for a few years and I have a lifetime license. I always have an adapter (mx+, els27 v4 and now the obdlink ex) with me and my cell phone or tablet. Seldom do I have my diag laptop with me. Sometimes I tell people about forscans ability but can't show them the ab editor unless I ...

Can I remove the extended license from a laptop?
So I have a laptop (Panasonic Toughbook CF-C1) set up very nicely for Forscan. I have drivers for multiple adapters like: vcm, vcm2, xvdiag, neovi j-2534 along with more common els27, elm and obdlink adapters. Anyhow I'm upgrading to another laptop so I cleaned up the cf-c1, deleted cookies, removed...

Re: OBDLink SX vs OHP Ford ELMconfig USB device
The OBDlink SX does not do MS-can so don't buy it. I have one and I have posted photos of the circuit board. Looks near impossible to add a MS-can switch to that unit. Spend the money and buy a real ELS27 ($70-$120), or even try the knock-off ELS27's from ebay. I think I paid $25 delivered for one. ...

ELS27 - Is there a reason to use STN2120 instead STN1170 ?
I have been looking into a wired usb option and have come across: For about $70 us https://els27.ru/en-us/ Or is an adapter with the STN 2120 chip better for about $60 plus shipping?: https://viaken.pl/pl/polski-elm327-v4-interfejs-vscan-stn2120-usb.html Looks like the STN2120 is a better performer:

Re: 2018 Expedition IPC Module Write Issues
Dennis, I don't know. I have the ability to use IDS, FDRS and Forscan. Just not on the same vehicle at the same time because of where the tools are located and my inability to have the same vehicle at each location. So I can't compare what one system can see versus what another system can see. I'll ...

Re: 2018 Expedition IPC Module Write Issues
I don't know if the modules or communication protocols are different but officially Ford released a new scantool software called FDRS for 2018 Ecosport, Expedition and Navigator. Supposedly the old/current IDS does not work on those vehicles. Maybe it is just a software deal that Ford is choosing to...

Are 0ms and 1ms delays possible?
I'm trying different adapters and I came up with a 0 ms and 1 ms delay.
Can this be correct?
I didn't think such a low delay was possible.
