Re: Mondeo MK3 RCM configuration problem
Really? I didn´t test it with every beta version. Also this might apply for pre-can models only. I don´t know if they are still working on it and how the priority level is. I asked this question when the configuration options where in closed beta tests before they got introduced to the public... Thi...

Re: Forscan will not accept temp key
Did you already check date and time settings on your computer? Since the license is time limited it will not work if your date is wrong!

Re: upload motorcraft asbuilt data
Original asbuilt can be imported into FORcan. However at the moment you cannot write to all of the modules. It also depends on development of support of your vehivle what is possible or not. PCM / ECU ist not supported at all. As far as i know ABS module also is not supported or rarely supported.

Re: HOW CAN I CHANGE BOOST SETTING IN ECU
This is diagnostics software and not tuning software. Also it is not yet possible to change any settings on the PCM / ECU. It might be possible in future releases to change some settings. But i don´t think it will be suitable for tuning. Tuners usually need special hardware and software. They read t...

Re: Mondeo MK3 RCM configuration problem
I don´t think the function is broken, it just never worked.
I asked FORScan about it when beta testing the new configuration options. The answer was - communication with RCM module is encrypted and they were not yet able to decrypt it...

Re: Forscan Software Injector Coding
This should answer all questions. http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2 Cylinders are numbered from 1 to 4 from left to right if you are in front of your car looking on the engine. The injectors are numbered in firing order. So are the fields on the right side. First cylinder is injecto...

Re: Forscan 2.3.8 beta ICU issues
This car has no (separate) ICU. Did you answer the question correct when FORScan asks for the build year of your car? Injector Control Unit is found in pre-CAN TDCI only In newer models this is integrated into PCM. If you answered question of build year correct send your issue and log files to FORSc...

Re: Use forscan to ajust timeing tables/fuel trum?
I don´t know what data is stored in the PCM. The VIN ist stored in the PCM and i guess some additional configuration data, injector C2I codes, PATS codes and so on. Fuel tables are usually as far as i have heared part of the software. But this also may differ on different models. I didn´t investigat...

Re: Use forscan to ajust timeing tables/fuel trum?
If your vehicle´s PCM software can be updated through CAN bus it might be possible. But FORScan does not support PCM software update at the moment. Maybe in future releases. But you have to do the tuning all by yourself - get the PCM software, modifiy it and update PCM with modified software when th...
