Bluetooth Issue after Sync 2 to 3 upgrade

Postby holmes114 » Tue Apr 17, 2018 2:45 pm

I recently did the Sync 2 to 3 upgrade in my 2013 Ford Edge. I've got everything programmed and working normally via FORScan with the APIM, but I've lost the Bluetooth option in the "Entertainment" field on the instrument panel. Now it only lists AM, FM and CD, no Bluetooth. Bluetooth works and plays fine, I've just lost the ability to switch to Bluetooth using the steering wheel controls now.

Does anyone know if this is something I can fix with FORScan, and if so, how? Or have I just lost that option with the upgrade?

I have a question that has nothing to do with your question.

When "programming" your Sync 3 APIM is all you do is download AsBuilt back up based on your Vin and adding all those values to that new APIM?
