Windows XP Pro here...when I LOAD LICENSE KEY and set to *.key option the file is not visible under any circumstance...no matter what folder I try to put it in from MY DOCS to C:\

Any suggestions?

I know this system is old but it seems to work fine with FORScan, Vida-Dice and VCDS that I run it on...so I'd like to stay with it!

EDIT: Figured out. Although windows xp was showing xxx.key it was really named xxx.key.csv. I had to show "known extensions" and then rename from .csv to .key...all is good for temp extended lic.

Is this system down? I noticed some people had problems a few days ago with the same error.

Greetings to all,

I have obtained the 2 month extended license but would like to obtain the lifetime license key as a translator or tester group category. Can you put that request is so my lifetime license key can be generated? Please advise how i can remove the temporary license and activate the lifetime license key once issued? Also, will i receive an email indicating this has been processed and how to proceed with the new key?

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer that was our daily driver and the instrument cluster/PCM went bad as diagnosed by the repair shop so i removed the instrument cluster/PCM from a project 2006 Explorer i purchased to fix later on and gave them to the mechanic so they could repair my daily driver vehicle. They fixed it but only coded 1 of the keys so now i need to code the remaining key and also have the extended license to work on my project Ford Explorer which will need an instrument cluster/PCM and keys programmed along with other issues to get it up and running hopefully

i did not know about this software until earlier today over at a ford explorer forum i was told about this. Great to know you guys are here!!! I do BMW coding/programming and will be starting to work on Ford vehicles so i will require the lifetime license.

Regards,
Mark

You can't.
But it's not forbidded to apply for a new one, once your current license expires.
