Are you sure the second key is valid? Can you check all keys as described here:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1581

If both keys return B1601, please send internal FORScan logs to PM or email for further analysis of the problem. Instruction is on the Contact Us page.

Hello,

I have a problem to program a new key to my Ford Focus build 2002 1.8 TdCi, which was built in the netherlands. After I#m getting the Outcode I went to the hompega autokeyprog and I was given an incode. After Typing that incode and pressing OK ForScan exits with message taht the key is programmed succesfully. But the car doesn't start with that key.
Is it right that I have to insert first a programmed key and when the message box appears I have to turn off ignition and have to put in the new one?

Such behaviour is possible on this model if the key is not right (transponder is not compatible). Can you please check the key as described here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1581 ?

Hello FORScan,

you were right. The Transpoder of the new key doesn't be recognized by the PCM. Someone sold me the wrong key for this car. I Have ordered an new transponder (4D60) which should fit for this car. I will try it as soon as the transponder arrives. And when everything is fine with this transponder I have to operate it into the flip key.

Greets and thanks
