No ELM in Linux

Postby Deacon » Sun Dec 17, 2017 8:14 pm

I have Linux Lite on my laptop. I installed Forscan in WINE, no problem. Program opens perfectly. I have set up ELM327 in laptop. Recognized and paired. (the Bluetooth ELM does work with Forscan Lite on my phone.) However when I try to connect to laptop, I get "No ELM Found. Please check connection". The truck (2002 F-150) ignition is on and elm installed. Please help.

Sounds like WINE and Forscan can't see the serial port. See viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5542
