2015 Ford Explorer hid headlights

Postby skantman69 » Sat Sep 30, 2017 5:11 pm

After months of installing aftermarket hid lights the right side went out. Left side still works. From what I can see there is a trouble code on the bcm prohibiting that side from working. How in the hell do i clear the BCM and get that circuit turned back on?? For the life of me I can’t figure it out. Nothing I do will clear it and turn the right side back on. Any help please?!? Thanks.

Have you checked the circuit for faults? Even the bulb, if blown will shut the circuit down for safety/fire.

Yes. I’m completely taking the aftermarket HID kit out and going back to the stock halogen bulbs. Now that I do that how do I clear the fault and get the circuit back on? I see the code when I test the BCM but how do I clear it and turn it back on??
