What's new in FORScan

April 04, 2012 - FORScan version 1.1.1 beta is released

The version contains fixes for several bugs reported by users. Most important were:

  • Wrong detection of Bluetooth ELM adapters
  • Incorrect support of non-English (national) characters in name of files.

    March 22, 2012 - Updated version of the site

    Site is updated to reflect changes in the latest version.

    March 21, 2012 - FORScan version 1.1.0 beta is released

    Some features of the new version:

  • Support of Ford CAN vehicles up to 2012 MY
  • Automated connect option
  • More ECUs, DTCs, tests and PIDs supported
  • Improved stability
  • A lot of small fixes, changes, improvements

    November 3, 2011 - Russian version of the site

    Launched Russian version of the site.

    September 16, 2011 - FORScan version 0.9.2 beta is released

    Improved vehicle detection procedure.

    September 9, 2011 - FORScan version 0.9.1 beta is released

    Set of changes and fixes, implemented based on first feedback from users.

    September 2, 2011 - FORScan version 0.9.0 beta is released

    First official (public) release, launch the project web site.
